SMALL BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT FUND
The SBIF offers a rebate of up to 50 percent of your investment in
building or tenant improvements. Businesses must be located
in eligible TIF districts.
TIF WORKS
Invest in your workforce with training grants, available through
the City of Chicago, that can cover up to 100 percent of your investment .
Prior approval required.
EMPLOYEE TRAINING INVESTMENT PROGRAM
Training grants through the State of Illinois reimburse up to
50 percent of training costs.

GNCDC maintains an inventory of available industrial space for sale

TIF Districts it serves. Staff would be glad to discuss building availability, lease rates, market conditions and development incentives through
Tax Increment Financing, Enterprise Zone Incentives and more.

There are an abundance of organizations specializing in employment
placement—from entry level to highly skilled. GNCDC partners with
many of them to help your business find good full-time employee.
While the agency doesn't do direct placement, your job
order will be circulated to organizations which have
successfullydelivered suitable candidates to our
member companies in the past.
