About GNCDC

Greater Northwest Chicago Development Corporation (GNCDC) is an Illinois non-profit corporation and an IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable organization. Its mission is to foster economic and community revitalization by:

• creating permanent, private sector employment opportunities, principally through the retention, expansion, and attraction of manufacturing businesses
• building effective collaborations between the business sector, residents, and community institutions

Founded in 1977 as Greater North-Pulaski Development Corporation (GNPDC), in 2005, GNPDC changed its name to Greater Northwest Chicago Development Corporation (GNCDC) to better reflect its service area.
