Share the Spirit Holiday Food Drive
During the year end holiday season, GNCDC sponsors a Food Drive for low income families in its service area. Established in 1992, the program provides food packages to over 500 families annually. In 2003, GNCDC welcomed a new partnership with the Chicago Anti-Hunger Federation. Local companies and their employees collect non-perishable food and may also contribute money to purchase more food. CAHF collects the food and distributes it through its local pantries. Read more about CAHF.
