Description of the course:
The lean manufacturing simulation is the first step to learning the principles of lean manufacturing. Topics include an overview of lean manufacturing principles, reinforced with a hands-on production simulation. Working in a mock company, "Buzz Electronics", participants assemble a "real" product on a simulated factory floor, incorporating the various principles of lean along the way. By participating in the lean simulation, attendees learn how to use half the manufacturing space and half the investment in tools to produce new products in half the time and with fewer defects. Working as part of a team, participants will quickly grasp the key concepts of lean manufacturing. Read more here
