The Financial Literacy Program
In response to companies' requests to increase financial education among their employees, GNCDC has developed The Financial Literacy Program. Based on the FDIC's Money Smart Program, The Financial Literacy Program is designed to be offered on-site for the benefit of employees. With flexibility in mind, this low-cost program can be held during the lunch hour or after work. Contact Reid Mackin for more information and see the brochure in pdf format.
Classes: Management and Green Practices for Small Businesses
St. Augustine College's Institute for Workforce Education is offering Management and Green Practices for Small Businesses at its 3255 W. Armitage location. This 81-hour course includes classes in supervisory, financial and green management. The tuition is $6000, but companies located in the Northwest Industrial TIF or Pulaski Industrial TIF are eligible for full scholarships.
