The Illinois Small Business Development Center at GNCDC

The Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at GNCDC offers free counseling and resource help to start-up and existing companies on such matters as:

  • securing capital
  • business plan preparation and strategic planning
  • marketing
  • procurement
  • international trade
  • industrial safety
  • environmental regulations
  • energy management
  • business succession
  • personnel training
  • financial issues and planning

The ISBDC at GNCDC is funded by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and other matching grants. Please help DCEO assess small business needs. If you run a small business, go here and fill out a survey.

The ISBDC at GNCDC specializes in financial counseling and credit assistance linking start-ups and existing small businesses with numerous private, City, State and Federal funding agencies. With our assistance, your small business can get access to capital funds at affordable rates for extended terms.

The ISBDC links start-up and small firms to initial pro bono or low cost technical, legal and accounting assistance.
